Is it on purpose that caleb, lilith , vlad or ugly generated townies knock on the house door at knight or is it just me. I thought they would break in and drink blood from my sim but they just stand...

They are actually breaking in on the community lot, not on the home lot! Every single time this happens to me, a vampire is on the lot where you are someplace. Sometimes they even appear to do the sneaky-walk thing when they usually break in your Sim's home. Some people mentioned before that there might have been a Sim napping someplace on the lot, because there is a test in the tuning files which checks if the interaction "sleeping" is in use, which makes a vampire break-in. Maybe even the recovery from Plasma Drain could be considered sleeping, by the games engine.
I have only had the problem when one of my Sims went home and I stayed at a community lot with the other. I didn't see any vampires since the game hadn't generated any that early in playing the game when Vampires came out. I assumed my Sim at home was being attacked because I couldn't leave the community lot. This has to be a bug to try to break in a community lot, I guess.
