Lack of resort management in Island Living is so disappointing.

I'm from Florida originally and the Florida Keys and as I mentioned before as a kid I really dislike all the snobby tourist who made messes and left everything behind a mess. Especially some of the tourist fishing boats when they came into Key Largo. My grandparents had a lovely place in Key Largo and all that trash would blow all over my Grams gardens - sometimes frustrating her to tears. Tourist have to realize the world is not a garbage dump and they can not go around tossing their trash all over the place or worse into people yards and beaches. My family owned several Florida houses - Jacksonville Beach, Daytona Beach, Miami Beach and Homestead - and tourist behaved like that every one of our families places. It's just wrong.

I honestly prefer this to going on vacation. This world looks like there's so much to explore and do, you would never be able to fit all of it in with just a week's vacation.

Agree 100%. I want hotels too, but I'm glad we have an "exotic" world that's livable and not just a tourist spot. I want my sims to live in worlds outside of North America and Europe, because the world is a much bigger place, and I don't want to reinforce the exoticization of cultures outside these places too much

Personally I can wait for a hotel GP that has both management and lodging as long as it's done well. The island pack is enough for now

This is is not a vacation world - so why would there be hotels anyway?

We still need a 3rd Vacation world - perhaps they are saving the hotels and resorts for that. Hopefully it will be Honeymoon hotels and resorts or maybe a ski and Lodge resort..

I would love a ski resort, so you think that’s possible in this iteration (the skiing and chair lifts) ?

Well the devs have stated nothing is impossible - so I don't see why not. Skiing would be relatively easier to make than some of the things they have already done even - so I could see it very possible in 64 bit.

Never. Just a snowboarding half pipe. It would be nice to have skiing for the first time
