Landgraab phone call

Question

Anyone ever get the phone call in game where the landgraab power company calls to tell you your power is getting cut off because squirrels chewed the line? I never saw it and it really made me laugh. My sim ended up with a 'curse you landgraab' moodlet or something similar. 🤣 If not that one, have you received any other calls that made you laugh?

I've gotten the squirrel one a couple of times. First time I chose"what preparation" &amp; lost power immediately; second time I chose "of course" &amp; didn't lose power, nancy said they were just checking.

I've had it a few times. One on Harvest Day, thankfully right after the Grand Meal was cooked.

My experience with it is, if you reply "Prepared...?!?!?" (as in not prepared)the power will immediately be shut off. But, once I started replying with "But of course!" nothing happened. At least twice. So, I'm not sure if they call just to check if people ARE prepared just in case, or what.

I've never seen any funny ones from them, but one thing that has always confused me is that if I forget to pay my Sim's bills, I'll get a notification that they have 24 hours to pay the bills or the power will be shut off--immediately behind that notification it says the power has been shut off. Umm, what happened to the 24 hours?
