Laptop and desk top computers

I just got a new laptop. I have TS4 and all of the expansions on my desktop through EA App. I put Steam on the laptop and am thinking about putting just the base game and maybe adding a couple of expansions later. Has anyone tried this? Will I be able to do it, or will the laptop version just go to the one on my desktop?

    Laptop and desktop are different, you’d have to install the packs on the laptop to use them. Laptop and desktop won’t sync together

    You can put EA App at laptop with your account, then install all packs you have at PC or some of them
