I hope the sims team will make laptops as desk or counter pcs i sims4 evenif they stay on desk or counter without being portable or placed in a sims pocket inventory please hear this and make it happen sims team please

Yes, you need some laptops, not everyone has moved on to a tablet/iPad. I will never have one again, I will not conform. :D But what I dislike with a purple passion is the fact every thing goes thru the computer..give me a break, not everyone has a pc, my neighbors don't, so please stop pushing them onto our Sims and give us a newspaper, too. Jobs are in the paper you know, we didn't fall off the face of the earth just because there is internet. We will not conform.

lol Cinebar I'm with you. I got done building a magic academy and no electronics were allowed. Well I was forced to put a computer in the head mistress's quarters and lock everyone out but her, because I had to order things that I couldn't get anywhere else. I tried to use a computer that looked less modern but all of it just looked terrible in there. And none of my Sims use tablets. Sometimes when I come back to them after I checked on other families, some how one of my Sims would have one in their inventory that they must have snatched from someone else because I couldn't actively take it out of the inventory, I had to have my Sim place it in world so I could delete it.

I'm actually getting a bit tired of technology. Used to love it and eat it all up. These days, all I do is play a few games on my PC and write and pay bills on my laptop. That's about it. I'd like it if they got off the automatic cell phone for all sims too. I actually know a few people (young and old) that don't have one.

I have managed to convert a TS3 laptop to TS4. I am currently working on the animation to get it to open when the sim wants to use it. I have the mesh for it to stay open. I don't know about tweaking it for it to be placed on counters. I would have to look into how to do that. may be through slots and some other rigging.

Seeing as how TS4 is trying to keep up with the times, I never understood how or why we never got laptops but we got tablets as well?
