Last name didn't change after getting married.
I moved two sims in together and when they got married, the female still has the same last name she did before they got married, and their child has her last name.

The second one is labelled last or surname and contains one of the parents surnames (usually the mom) but this also has a randomisation dice. If you want to change a sim's surname, this can be done by entering Ctrl shift c then putting in the box: testingcheatsenabled true then entering in the same box after it: cas.fulleditmode then shift click the sim you want to change then click the option 'edit in cas' there it'll open the cas menu you used to create them.
The most recent patch made it so you don't need the cheat to change names anymore.
Really? is it a auto-change or a renaming?
No - just that you don't need to use the cas.fulleditmode cheat. You can user regular CAS.
