I'm still just waiting for more info. To me the two things that pop out from watching vids:
1) 90% of the gameplay looks like waiting for your sim to do a thing. Sim digging a hole? Wait an hour. Sim examining a puzzle? Wait an hour. Seems like it could get old real fast. This is probably where the traps and sliding puzzles of World Adventures come into play because they made you think. Even if they weren't hard, they kept your attention and distracted you from your boredom by forcing you to think. This one doesn't do that and it shows.
2) Given that the gameplay itself seems disappointing, I remain interested in what the rewards can do. The obscene amounts of money those relics are worth is very off-putting to me because I consider money the most lazy, uncreative reward ever, but if the artifacts have good powers, it could be worth it. Sadly no one has catalogued them yet, but until I hear about one that sounds interesting, I think I'll be holding onto my money.
