But if I allow every option the game offers me (and subsequently roll in money), then I move out with my heir, leaving the house to the spare(s).

That is really interesting that you move out with the heir & leave the house to the spares! I’m leaning towards watching the house grow, but I really like that idea, too!
Also, you make it farther than me—I’ve only ever made it to gen 3! Lol. I’m really hoping that all of the upcoming new content will inspire me to keep going
