I just hit my 10 generations all on the same lot, and when my heir comes of age (young adult) I then evaluate if I want to rearrange the house or rebuild on my lot. So sometimes I will just update their bedrooms as they age and then add onto the house as it grows, but other times I am like this house doesn't work anymore so I will demolish it and build a new house on the same lot.
Wow, that is awesome! Congrats on making it through 10 generations! Yeah, I feel like evaluating how I feel throughout my gameplay is probably the best way to go about it, lol. I love how everyone does their legacies a little differently!
