Less Clunky Chef Stations and Group Experimental Meals, Please!

This is something that has always bothered me about Dine Out. Okay, the experimental dishes require a chef station, fair enough. But why is it that the only chef stations we have are super clunky and don't look right in the average kitchen? Sure, they look right at home in restaurants, but not in your typical home kitchen!

And then there's the experimental dishes. I was really impressed with them when I first saw them, but the feeling didn't last when I found out that it was only possible to make them as singular dishes and not group meals. Really, what's the point of learning to make these awesome foods if I can't even feed them to the whole family?!

Long story short, less clunky stations that would fit in with the average home kitchen! Group experimental meals, please!
  • Ditto. I'd like to see a smaller chef station that matches the counters that you don't have to unlock.
  • Yes, I wish so many objects were less clunky in this game.
And I also agree on the request of being able to make meal groups, such a random choice they made there.

I don't mind the size of the object, I mean, it's not called a chef station for nothing, and it comes with a stove as well as space to prepare food, so naturally it's going to be a little bit bigger. What does bother me, though, is that they only come with very few recolours, and all of them are mostly grey. It would be nice if the grey part could be changed to black, white, and wooden at least.

But I didn't even know you could cook experimental dishes at home using the chef station. I thought they were just for restaurants. Learned something new today! :)

Yes, when your sim has a certain level in cooking (I think level 5) and they try an experimental dish, they learn the recipe.

Yeah, the chef stations we currently have fit in just fine with modern kitchens, but not so much any other style. If not smaller sized chef stations, then I at least hope that different style chef stations and more colors to choose from would be a possibility.
  • I'd like this also. I know there are mods out there to allow for all recipes but that's the type of mod I don't like to update. So yeah either a smaller chef station or wait until the sims comes to an end to mod it in for me.
