Let the toddler eat!!!!!

My toddler is on the brink of starvation because every time I direct a sim to give the poor toddler some food, another sim stops that interaction to do something else with her! It is driving me nuts! Who else is having the same issue?

  • Turn autonomy off at highchair feeding time - then turn it back on when the toddler has it's food in front of it.

HOWEVER, The Sims Studio won't give us a hot-key for autonomy - so it sucks that you have to go to the Options menu to do it.

Personally, I would let us hit a button to toggle autonomy on and off at a whim.

Imagine the joy of Simming with an autonomy hotkey - now wake up! That day will never come.

I would hand it over on a plate - I would let us do it.
  • I have an easier time with feeding toddlers in Sims 4 compared to the nightmare of feeding Sims 2toddlers. I am so grateful it is much easier in Sims 4.
  • This is why I play with autonomy off because mine would do the same thing. It helps a lot, I guess I just like having full control over my sims :D

You wouldn't need to if we had the autonomy hotkey.

I would hand this over today for us Simmers - I would simply just have handed it over when the base game was released.

So much is missing because we are not allowed it - it is not that it is not possible, or it is not feasible - we are simply not allowed it.
  • You jab that sucker when you want then do what you wanted to do - take a photo, set up a scene - feed the toddler in the highchair, etc, etc,

Then just jab that sucker again and life goes on.

    It really is that simple.
  • i have a different problem.. Every time the toddler is about to eat, she just stops and puts the food back. And then when i put her in the high chair she asks to get out. I don’t know what to do
