Lethal Heat moodlet is stuck

The new help place doesn't seem to have a place for specific in-game issues, just filing bug reports.

I had death turned off and I got a notification saying my Sim was burning to death from overheating (all he did was drink tea!) but no fire in sight. I changed his outfit, made the thermostat cool and had him swim, but the moodlet is still there. I tried turning death back on but nothing happened (I'm glad, I don't want him dead). How can I get this unstuck?

UPDATE: Just didn't save the game, he's okay now. Any advice for if this happens again? Also, does drinking tea do that?

  • Drinking tea does do that. Resetting the sim might help, which if I remember rightly involves turning on testingcheats and shift clicking on the sim in question.

Thanks for the tea info. I tried resetting but it didn't work.
