I've been observing the forums for the past few days and I am seeing only hate and disappointment and bitterness surrounding most of the threads, and in turn it's making me feel very bitter and misera...

I also really love the artstyle! I think that's the main reason I could never get back into the Sims 3, it just looks so insanely outdated, including the clothes and everything.
And the world as well. Open world not being a thing anymore doesn't matter that much to me, because wherever I go there's always a ton of sims to hang out with. I also love the club system, and the fact that they just kinda show up in the background when you're just hanging out at a lot doing their club stuff. And I love that we can just travel to and live in any world, whereas in the sims 3 you were confined to one world.
