I've been observing the forums for the past few days and I am seeing only hate and disappointment and bitterness surrounding most of the threads, and in turn it's making me feel very bitter and misera...

Also, beyond hair and clothing unlocks (which I use selectively, but frequently), custom gender settings allowed my remade TS3 gay couple to be my legacy founders in TS4 without needing mods. Old hat to some, I know, but still a big deal to me.
Yea I really like how close family and friends will invite you out to places, come over to visit often and basically just keep up with your sim. That's a nice detail. And I totally forgot to praise the custom gender options!!! LOVE that!!! <3
