Without MCCC, you may want to age unplayed sims a bit less frequently, @mcrudd, because the unplayed families will eventually just die out and disappear if you don't give the game's story progression a lot more time to make babies.
One thing I do if a premade family does disappear from my game...I just add back the original. :lol: The Vatore's were gone from my game, for example, by the time I started playing a vampire. Which made me a little sad. So I just downloaded a Vatore makeover from the gallery and moved them back into the original Vatore home then marked them back as unplayed.
