:lol: @Elliandre Goldfish can live like 15-30 years, depending on the exact type and if they are well cared for, and if you don't keep their bowl/tank where it gets direct sunlight. My family had a large tank with goldfish that my dad set up when I was born and it was the same fish still in the tank when I went off to college...except for one sad loss, found floating belly up when I was in middle school.
I think mermaids are more closely related to tuna though.
