In the words of OUAT “Magic always comes with a price.”
Yas, In the sims I'd be ripping out hearts with a purpose, and "Always moving in a cloud of {Blood Red} smoke"
I hope someone makes a mod for that. Not even joking, I want that. I'm a OUAT Stan so I'm okay with it.
Also, I have been working on a OUAT type of fanfic for The Sims.
I named One go my sims Cora after the Queen of Hearts, In many ways she is the original Cora, with a Hint of Lady Ollenna from Game of Thrones, and Queen Catherine De Medici from Reign. Except She's a Queen of her own, Humble and Kind, It wasn't until Corruption entered the Kingdom, the Death of the King, she became Heartless, Manipulative, Vindictive. She was taught Magic by a Daemon{Vampire} she Summoned. So now She's bound to the Darkness. Ultimately She's going to loose her crown and her power for Treason against the Kingdom, my Character's Grandfather is Going to see to her banishment, Via Portal to the Realm of Darkness (Forgotten Hollow).

All transformation spells and curses can be Permanent
For example sleeping curse sim can be woken by the person who has high relationships with them, if the player kills off all sims who had a relationship with the sim in a sleeping curse, then the sim shall never wake.
No more spells wearing off
I think there should be options for both permanent and temporary transformations, as well as permanent and temporary spells in general, just so that Simmers can play Witches how they want.
Oh absolutely which is why I say making spells, Potions, Curses more extreme. This way Players can go about collecting ingredients and doing spells their own way, and decide, If or how, they want to break the spell, of course there will be caveats.
The Best way, If it's a Potion/Curse made in Cauldron, is adding a special ingredient, a failsafe, to allow the Spell to be Broken or wear off.
For a Sleeping Curse, if you are about to place a Sim under a Sleeping Curse, Make sure they have a good relationship with Someone, Family, a Lover, a Best Friend to wake them up... If you put a Sim under a sleeping curse, and they have no Positive relationships... Sorry to say your sim is as good as dead. Cause their enemies will just say, Good riddance.
I feel if I made a Potion/Curse or Cast a Spell directly onto a Sim to turn them into a Vampire, or Werewolf, those spells would be legit. you can cure them or use your magic to turn them back if you decide to. with maybe a time limit, "Before the sunsets on the Third day", "Before Midnight"
You have to turn them back, or they're stuck in their new form. Their Human Form gets Culled.
I also Feel, If I Cast a Spell to turn a Sim into a Frog, they should turn into an actual frog not a sim wearing a cheap frog costume.
