Well I think they can reuse a few things, from Vampires. However I can't Imagine Strengths and Weaknesses, Working the Same way for Sorcerers or Witches even, the way it works for Vampires... I can Imagine sort of like a Spell Book UI, earning Magic Points {MP}, Experience and using your experience to Learn Spells.
Teleportation {
Transforming = worth 3 MP
Conjuring = worth 3 MP
Summoning = worth 3 MP
Alchemy = worth 4 MP
Light Magic = Worth 5 MP
Dark Magic = Worth 5 MP
Blood Magic = Worth 5 MP
Potions, Elixers, Curses = Worth 5 MP
Elemency = Worth 5 MP
Enchanting = Worth 7 MP
Forbidden Spells = Worth 10 MP
Crafting Potions and Curses via cauldrons more than just the basic Emotional/Need Fixers, But actual Potions, Elixirs, and Curses that can change the Game.
Examples: Invincibility Potion, a Curse of Infertility, Sleeping Curse.
I really want well done elemental Spells, I realize I want variations of elemental Spells, and that's unrealistic, so I'll try to narrow 1 spell per element.
At the Very Least:
Fire Ball - Sim Conjures a ball of fire in Hand, throws it as the Fireball hit's it's target it explodes.
Splash, Think Water Bending
Quake, Make the ground tremble and knock people of their feet.
Tornado, Create a mini tornado,
I do want to Rip Out Hearts. Since the Sims 4 came out, I could see it, Emotions, What better way to play with emotions, than ripping out hearts having control over all, Sims.
