To be sure.... do male sims still get impregnated by aliens even when the "neither" setting is chosen? Or, could it be that we players are simply assuming the "neither" setting is chosen by default, or forgetting to choose that setting for our male sim?
Yep the gender patch was the fix for alien abductions. Pregnancy options can be very useful.
