Well it's Friday 12:54 am and I finally got to see todays (technically yesterdays) live play of the terrain tool. Had a long day in real life in Chemo 101 ( I was the subject not a lesson) - sigh - so of course missed the live showing but was still fun to watch and be amazed and wondering how well I will deal with trying to do something close to zipping out something like you guys do. Probably never - I will be the one we didn't see on screen, snail pacing it and taking a week to make it all at least be usable. LOL. But I will enjoy trying anyway. I can see that already or at least hope to get to see it.

Tools - yes - that's the thing. Finally to have something I can at least try, made by the Sims team. Horray! I like it and I really am cheering. Today needed something for me to cheer about and I am happy, tired or not, that I stayed up and viewed the whole thing. Thank you Maxis Guru's - nice to get good news at least in my Sims and the tool looks fabs. Thank you.

Granite falls was where I practiced landscaping before. It's gonna be great. And I won't need to fake slopes and hide edges by buying and enlarging rocks. Or alter heights so often. And there's the secret tunnels I wanted to be hidden that it will be easier to hide.

And at home, greenhouses won't have foundations!

I'm interested in seeing how high we can make our buildings.

I was very pleased to see Greg in action. He seems quite focussed and I think as ambitious as we are to see the building features extended as far as possible. So nice to see the gurus seeming to take the game seriously in recent months after what seemed like a few years of them coming over as if they think the whole thing is a joke - or (and I may be being unfair) as if they thought of the players as less intelligent than the people who play their other games. Nowadays when they talk to us they are sounding more like the devs who talk to us about their other games.
