I know for a fact that a lot of works goes into creating Sims 4 packs. Those packs haven't always been satisfactory to some folks, because these folks feel the work should have been spent on something else than what it was spent on. That's a fair argument not everybody has to agree with.

@CAPTAIN_NXR7 Exactly, this is always the part you seem to get wrong and I end up believing you really don't know the difference between justifying a price based on a personal prefrence that makes it worth it to you and justifying a price based on what the product you are buying is actually worth (in terms of work, time put in, quality etc.).
You wouldn't wipe your behind with a Lady Gaga album but that doesn't necessarily mean the album should be priced lower than toilet paper. Same with superfans who would buy a Lady Gaga album even if it cost 400$ a piece. That also doesn't reflect the time, work and expenses that went in to create the album.

Also your discount arguement doesn't work because a reviewer has to review a pack based on its price. If the price originally is 40$ then it is basically saying "this pack has content in it that is worth 40$ by today's video game standards". So a reviewer has to take that into consideration, just like LGR always does.
Maybe the pack is totally awesome to get for 20$ but that shouldn't change a reviewer's or the public's opinion. If the content in the pack is (again by today's video game standards, not based your opinion, I repeat not based your opinion) is only worth 25$ then that should be the price of the pack from the start.
