There was so much to take in, the trailer is three minutes long, but I'm so happy it is! As for the content...
I have no words. It's like when you're standing there at the podium at a funeral, looking over the casket at the faces of family and friends, trying to sort out your thoughts enough to say something meaningful that expresses how you feel. Only...
No one realizes what you're really thinking. The guilty relief, the sense of a weight being lifted, the...the elation, because old Aunt Myrtlecranny the (not so) Great Granny who was always poking you hard in the ribs to stand up straight and rudely yelling to fetch her prune juice while her ancient tiny, blind yap dog bit the heck out of your ankles and ate up your socks while you were wearing them, has finally, finally let go at 113 years of clinging to life with yellowed and cracked claws while hanging stubbornly on the edge of an Abyss of her own creation.Oh, the giddiness of seeing her soul whisked off by the ravens to face the Grim (who I've been secretly beckoning profusely to over her shoulder every time he passed her by), the delight of a competent Mortician and a forgotten grave to kick her ashes into, after which I can dance like Wednesday Addams under a crumbling roof while I watch the moon eclipse to prophesize the portents of doom that was foreseen in last week's tarot reading. After which I can wade into the swampy waters amongst the misty willows and let my own spirit be free, FREE! At last!

After seeing this scene at 0.49, I feel "Romanian" in the city's architecture.
Then I went to check the city I knew and found that it is this city...

To me it looks like inspiration for it could be Sibiu, but I think it's a mixture of different elements. In this picture here you can see the funny eye dormers. 😁 You can see them in the trailer too.
And the build style is traditional Romanian called Brancovenesc. I think you can mostly find it in the southern part.
The the inspiration for the fountain could be this huge fountain in Bucharest.
On second thought maybe the inspiration for the fountain could be this Fountain with Fish in Timisoara.

So it's like Tomarang and many previous worlds, they collected many parts and combined them. At least your information can point out that many elements come from Romania.
I still open my mind to know more references if anyone can see more because I'm not European but Tomarani (I mean SEA XD).

* Runs amok in a black bathrobe and child's plastic Halloween skull mask... *I am looking forward to the trailer tomorrow. I am eager to learn what the ep has to offer. What exactly do Life and Death mean to the gameplay. What kind of world will there be if there is one. What kind of clothes and bb will be there. I have a thousand questions.
I started making a new save file, combining characters from a bunch of TV shows and movies and some of the canonical sims households. I've got almost all of my starting families in the game. I'm waiting on putting in the last two families until at least I see the full trailer. If they're doing some sort of zombie, I need to wait and I'll use the next few weeks to polish up the lots and finish up my spreadsheets for which new households I'll be adding when. If not, then I'll just download some lots, put the families in with the characters I would have made zombies just being normal humans, and start playing.
I’m after watching the trailer again and honestly, this pack is just my thing. All my saves are built around this type of gameplay, specifically the occult side of it. I also love the pack’s icon, the crow.
Birds belonging to the Corvidae family are my favorite type of bird. My house is surrounded by crows. I just love these guys. They’re not creepy, they are mysterious, intelligent, generous and beautiful. They know when to talk and when to remain quiet.
For the crow thing alone, I’d want to add this pack to my collection. My sim needs a feathered companion. I thought it was a raven at first, but apparently it’s a crow!
I’m also intrigued by the sort of timeless world and very curious about the mysterious bog area. The builder within longs for a peek at the Ravenwood map. There is so much to plan! Great thing is, I already built a bunch of graveyards and abandoned churches; my monastic citadel will be converted into the perfect Grimtern HQ! Now I can’t wait to give Forgotten Hollow the make-over it deserves! I even have a medieval-ish grave digger cottage in Windenburg, ready for my Undertaker to move in.
BB looks excellent, I like so many of the CAS items, including -finally!- tattered night dresses for my little ghost children. I hope they come in adult sizes too. See? Crows aren’t creepy! Phantom kids in tattered night dresses are.
Like many other simmers, I do have a fear of funerals not functioning properly, and that’s because My Wedding Stories exists. In my game weddings don’t really work. I only had two so far and gosh, I dunno, maybe I’m just a terrible wedding planner. Nothing went as “planned”, of course. You won’t see me doing it in real life either. Anyway, nobody died, that’s the main thing. Truth of the matter is, I don’t care that much for weddings, as long as my sims get married somehow, but I’d want my funerals to go a little smoother. I just hope sims don’t get distracted and leave their seats at inappropriate times. I have no desire to download a bunch of butt glue mods. It would be interesting to see funeral gameplay performance during the livestream. If it works for the gurus, hopefully it’ll work for us, too. Fingers crossed; all in all, everything looks darkly delightful!😍🖤
If my sims misbehave at funerals I'll allow it tbh people do weird stuff all the time at funerals cause its so mentally tasking the brain isn't braining
There's a truth in that. We all process loss differently. Some of us weep and and some of us prefer doing sit-ups during eulogies.

The trailer was very well done. I am excited for the pack based on what I have seen in the trailer and read in the blog post so far.
Is that a picture of Nervous Subject and the Beakers in the bonus content photo frame? It would be nice if they came back along with Olive Specter and Ophelia.
I have my own versions that I've played for years now so I would kind of prefer if they didn't like I'm too far gone with the versions I have to replace the household now 😅 the hair though would be nice for my nervous subject when he grows up
Yeah, I have a version of Ophelia Specter, and she's an Elder now, with "natural" imbued powers (Spellcaster) from her unique background and influences, and she's a seer who speaks to spirits. She resides with my Happy Haunts household and is known as "The Oracle". If there's a new Ophelia coming, she's an imposter! 😆
This would be a nice shout out to Midnight Hollow. Nervous Subject is a baby that needs to be explored and played in this new EP.
That wallpaper is beautiful and I saw some broken windows. Hope they come in unbroken version as well because they are very pretty too.
The wallpaper shows an eclipse. I wonder if we are going to get eclipses in the game. A pet crow would be cool too.
