Maybe, like the devs did with mixology, instead of one of the standard Discover University degrees, there could be a certificate based on thanatology that you earn to advance in the Reaper Career.
That's a valid idea.
It could then join the other 3 special-boost careers: E-sports gamer, Professional Athlete, and Mixologist.
