I'm a bit disappointed that sims can only leave money in wills once the entire household becomes empty. I guess wealthier sims in legacy-style play will need to buy expensive items as heirlooms so their heirs can sell those and claim the cash. On the other hand, it might encourage me to vary my playstyle more often as I like to see the next generation benefit from their predecessors' efforts.
That's not how it appeared to work in the livestream. You could set percentages for how much you wanted to leave to different households.
I thought that was only if the sim making the will was the last adult sim in the household. I hope you can assign percentages regardless though.
