It's been interesting. My Global Superstar earned the People Person, and so has his wife, her twin sister and his younger brother (all living in the same household.) But then, he earned a most dreaded lifestyle. Workaholic. This upset me. Yes, he's running around like a chicken with his head cut off, but he has to do certain things to retain his fame. He's a Rock Star, so that means concerts, photoshoots, and cutting CDs. (I use a mod for this.) I also had him join the Entertainer Career for a shot at getting his long-overdue Starlite Accolade, which he did. Once he reached the top of that career, earning some very good pay, that had him working W-Sat from 2 pm to 9 pm. The other days he would work on albums, but since he gets invitations to perform concerts and attend photoshoots, daily, he sometimes is forced to fulfill these even after a full day's work. I wanted him out of the Workaholic lifestyle as he was stressing out major league. Plus, his children were starting to get cranky over not seeing him so much. He's got four kids! Since I play with the Slice of Life mod, too, his wife just informed him he was boring and she wanted them to try an open marriage. :open_mouth: Now, that doesn't mean much, but it was startling to me, nonetheless. I can act on it or not. I won't.
But I did have him quit the Entertainment Career. Then something very, very strange occurred. The Sim lost his ability to sing! I mean, he sounded wretched. Another player suggested I cheat his singing ability back to 0 or at least 1 and then cheat him back up again. This did not work. When I had him a level 8, he sounded a shade different, but the Sim couldn't even find the tune, let alone carry it in a bucket. I eventually rolled back to an earlier save when he could sing. I did a Save As, checked his singing ability, then had him quit the Entertainer Career, then checked his singing. All was well. So, I went back to the save I renamed and had him quit. All is well. My analysis is that the most recent save had been corrupted. It's really weird, as I copied my saves folder prior to refreshing my game folder. Yet, that save (the most recent one) was missing from the saves file. I took the one from the copied saves file, instead. Not sure what to think about that.
