Seems like all they will do is make moodlets/buffs even worse. Like, active sims already only seem to want to exercise 24/7 so adding energetic would only make that worse.
You're really stretching it with some of those and we have yet to know how they work. Either way I'm interested in this feature, they could potentially work as an extra trait or just something that makes the character better defined.
Is (s)he? I mean, it just makes sense to assume and opt to conclude thesesentimentsLifeStyles hold bare resemblance and can be reasonably assiosate to trait based on how oddly they're similar in terms of their title and icon. Now it begs as to why they even resemble as pre-existing characterists we have instead of - you know - making them follow a different suit? The only thing they did different that isn't catfishing traits is the two telephone-related ones. Why do we have Outdoorsy and EnergeticsentimentsLifestyles, when we can create Sims or edit them with respective traits (loves outdoors)? Wouldn't these render the following trait (like Lazy/Slov) useless if my Sims can exhibit the sedentary sentiment? Or what about they develop a lifestyle (say junk foodbeatee and indoorsy) that clash with polar traits vegeterian, loves the outdoors)? Would they conflict and confuse the game? Idk, seems like developers haven't throught to them and to think they're not there to replace the traits that are as a broken system that will be much broken and though throught concept design is gullible and strechy coming from your part.
Also the fact most of these counterparting trait forms are already classified as LifeStyle traits (except for active (that's Physical) and outgoing (Social one) goes again to show how developers know little about their game they program but dont play. WT and F???
Developers sure have creativity defiency, as well the entrust of actually being able to bring any succesful attempt revamping Sims personality wise for me. These will be so much lineair as the skill tree fron GF.
I said stretching some of those. Specifically I was thinking indoorsy - loner which doesn't seem the same at all and also health food nut - vegetarian which is also not the same. In Finland the is a popular some group for vegans who eat unhealthy. Sims may offer more limited options for that but I think it's still doable. On the other pairings I will have to reserve my judgement until we know more about how they work.
Even if some of them were the same it would be the equivalent of adding three new traits to your sims (I remember people asking for extra traits), you just need to work for them and earn them through gameplay. These traits are can also change through life. Maybe your outdoor loving sim will end up being outdoorsy if you play them that way. I think it will nicely strengthen that side on them and it would be more prominent. Or you could play a geek sim who will end up outdoorsy in which case their character would get more dimensions to it, up to you. I hope there are no restrictions to lifestyles based on traits.
