Yes. Both lightsabers and droids stay in the sim’s inventory when traveling home.
Lightsabers can be used the same in any world, although you can’t initiate a lightsaber challenge the way it’s possible via the lightsaber workshop on Batuu: It doesn’t spawn another sim to duel against. However, any sim that has a lightsaber in their inventory can be challenged and sparred with outside of Batuu.
At home the droids change into dancing radiostations and (unfortunately!!) loose their functionality i.e. they don’t follow your sim around.
