Likes and dislikes

What do you think?

I do like the added layer BUT it is annoying that Sims cancel out doing something I queued up for them just because they don't like it.

For example: Dad has slowly been working on upgrading things around the house. Enter the new like/dislike system of which I let him dislike handyman activities and suddenly he won't do any upgrades. I know it's just a game but come on ...we all do things we dislike because they have to be done. Would have been better to let them dislike it but maybe they grumble, throw tantrums ..be in a bad mood for a couple hours...that would have been a lot more fun to work with.
I ended up having to make him like it which actually makes me annoyed to have him do these things....
