Sims 3 has never been my favorite of the games because I loathe rabbit holes, but I did appreciate what generations brought to the table. I miss having the costume box, tree houses, hopscotch, and sleepovers/pillow fights for kids. I was playing Sims 4 last night and wanted so badly for my sim's daughter to have a sleepover with her cousins, but it isn't possible right now. It also annoys me that only two sims can play dolls with the doll house. We have so little for sims kids to do as a group. We need more GROUP things for them to do. I will be extremely angry if they give us a school pack that is all rabbit holes. I want my teens to get a real prom. I want real field trips. The kids can go to a museum or the park or something. I don't care as long as I can follow my sims where they go.
The strollers/prams also need to come back, so my sim can go for a walk with their toddler instead of leaving the kid home alone or hiring a nanny, so my sim can go on a long walk around the neighborhood. We also need cars or a better way to transport a group of sims. My sims went to the spice festival, and it would've been so much easier for them to travel TOGETHER. The dad rode his bike while the mom and kid walked. A blizzard started, and they had to walk a long distance before the loading screen came up. A car, like it did in Sims 2, could speed up the transition to the loading screen because it'll move them to the end of the neighborhood faster.
I've only been playing TS4 since March 2020, and I am already losing interest. I have all of the packs except Star Wars and Snowy Escape, and it still feels so empty compared to past versions. TS2 is still my absolute favorite. I have great respect for those of you who have stayed with this game for nearly 7 years.
