Little relationship problem here..

Don't know if the non-committal sim would cheat but maybe they will be more incline to respond back to a flirt made by another sim. The only thing I have noticed about the sims with this trait is that they tend to share their insecurities with their significant other.

What I've noticed is they usually just get tense frequently which can be annoying but they won't autonomously cheat on the sim especially if he's in your household. Cheating doesn't relieve the tense moodle either only breaking-up will but they wouldn't do that on there own either. Perhaps they'd "cheat" (all they do is flirt) if they were flirty and around other sims but I'd say that goes for most all sims. Also, you can always change your autonomy settings.

My Sim is currently in a relationship with J Huntington III whom has the non-committal trait and I've played other NC sims in the past (for some reason the're usually my favorite lol). I've never noticed them being extra flirty with other sims or had any real problems even with sims like Don Lothario who also have the flirty trait and the serial romantic aspiration. Mostly they just get tense which can indeed get annoying but mostly because it can interfere with getting them in the right moods for work this can be avoided if you fullfill wishes and purchase the Carefree reward trait for them then they won't be affected by the tense moodlet. Another way to clear up the tense moodlet is to have them change jobs frequently.

Honestly the most annoying thing apart from the tense moodlet is that they will autonomously discuss their fear of commitment which can put both sims in a bad mood lol. J always likes to do that at the worst possible moments like right before I'm going to have them get engaged or right after she told him she was pregnant lol.

For some reason my male legacy Sims always get stuck with an "Insane" wife as the only option going.

Can't help feel this is about the worst trait possible in-game, they randomly make Mean interactions (Yell at, usually) a couple times a day and soon end up despised by their down Sons and Daughters. The Yell At social happens out of the blue, even if the Sim is not currently affected by an angry moodlet (the trait randomly issues moodlets, sometimes Angry which can be overcome if you always ensure they have a Doll's house or two to smash).

A year or so ago I made a house hold with a Good, Cheerful, Gregarious and Insane Sim and Mean, Dastardly, Hot Headed and Evil Sim, and 6 "normals". Everyone got on quite well with the Evil, but hated Ms Crazy...

... Doesn't Non-committal trait more or less mean getting into a relationship early isn't for them and don't like the idea in general also, they don't care if you want to end one cause it aint their cup of tea anyhow...?
Just sims afraid of commitment, just assume remain free to play the field sims lol.

The trait won’t make them go out and cheat. But it will make (or should make) it more difficult for romantic advances to be accepted, meaning your Sim will have to try a little harder when it comes to that first kiss, asking them out, and eventually popping the question.
And even then, he’ll get a tense buff every once in awhile from being noncommittal and in a relationship for a long time.

You could always go to the gallery and get some eligible bachelors in your game, too!

If you have them in the same household they will never cheat unless you make them. Also noncommittal sims don’t neccesarly cheat , my sim is dating Don Lothario and he never cheated on her, if anything my sim is the cheater

I don't think that it should affect it, but I've had plenty of problems with promiscuous sims. My main sim and her now husband were getting married, right after the ceremony the groom flirts with the best man (Well, it was his best friend, so I call him the best man). I wasn't watching him, so apparently they talked for a while. The next day, the groom gets a call from the best man saying something along the lines "I can't get you out of my head do you want to go on a date". Meanwhile, best man had just got engaged like two days prior.
Then, the best man, who lives at home with his father, brother, sister-in-law, and fiance, starts wanting to flirt with his brother's wife. None of these guys have the non-committal trait. Getting tired of it xD
