Llamas

Thee are a lot of Llama symbols, and Llama references, in TS4.
Basically, my question is, why aren't there any actual SimLlamas in the game?
I'm not crazy, trust me, but it's just something that's been bugging me.

you can dress up your Sim as a Llama ;)

  • I never understood why its a Llama to be honest. I honestly do not remember if there was any reference to Llamas in the first of the series or not but I do know they have been the college mascot since the release of The Sims 2 university.

I think that somewhere past medieval times they replaced the dire chinchillas ;)
  • It's coming back to me now. I do remember hoping there was not even show much as mention to Llamas when TS2 same out. Then uni happened...lol I do miss the bunny though. I always liked the bunny. Well not in Ts3...lol

The Llama is fun and random. You thinking about it shows it works. It's like bringing up penguins in real life conversation, because you're bored or you just want to change the subject. It will make people wonder what's going on.
  • It was an easter egg/reference to Monty Python's Holy Grail beginning credits in the Sims 1 I believe. The movie didn't contain any llama's that I recall, it was just a joke throughout the beginning credits.. I guess it just stuck and stayed
    through all the sims versions.

*Edit Just read @SageRainWillow 's post... I just always assumed it was a Monty Python reference I guess :D
  • cause everyone knows Alpacas are cuter... if Alpaca came in the Upcoming GP I might actually consider buying it.
