Iirc in the lifestream they said "If you want sims to attend Copperdale High, you have to move them to Copperdale" in response to why no familiar faces were showing up at school like they usually do. I may have misheard though, will need to go back and look for the timestamp.
Malcolm I don't remember if he was ever shown in class? He called one of the active sims via phone and then was at the prom, but I think he never attended class.
