So I have to say I like the locked door mod MORE than the locked doors that came with the new patch mainly because I can lock out specific sims. Doesn't seem like the new locked door mod lets you do ...

ok i figured it out and don't need the mod. You lock the doors for everyone. Click on one sim you want access to and unlock it for them. Then go select your other sim and make the door unlock for that person. So you have to do it per sim. There isn't a list of names and pictures like the mod (which is WAY more convenient). I will to say yes to this, glad to see the locked door option even if it took some months to do it. One item crossed off my list that can bring Sims 4 to it's potential. Now there is two or three items left. :)
