Looking for a little help with the Golden Mahi Mahi. *Update* I caught it.

I used aquatic lure by the ship wreck and caught it. Thanks for the help everyone.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the best place to fish for the Golden Mahi Mahi was. I am trying to complete the fish collection and the only one I have left to get is the Golden Mahi Mahi. I saw a post on Carls sims 4 guide that said to fish in deep water (like by the dive spots) I have been fishing for weeks and weeks (sim weeks) in a canoe and at a couple different fishing spots, but I still haven't caught one. So if you have caught one could you tell me where? Thank you :)

I had a mermaid sing an aquatic lure on the fishing spot near the shipwreck in Mua Pel’am. For several hours the water was sparkling and I had my main sim with fishing level 10 fish there. He caught the Mahi Mahi without using any bait. I’ve read in several tutorials that you can only catch that fish in deep waters, but that’s not true.

Some fishing spots around the worlds has glitter (I don’t know how to explain) surrounding the fishing signs, and that’s an indicator that is a special place to catch fish.
