No, in truth I couldn't bear to be away from all the other lovely simmers for long. For me, it's part of the whole Sims thing so I guess I'm gonna have to get used to this rotten new forum.

I'm a new spectator as well. Feels like starting all over. Especially the absence of a profile pic makes me feel like a part of who I am missing

Hey everyone. I think I can get used to this, but I am really not okay with the fact that we can't upload our own avatars! I get used to people by their avatar as much as their name and I don't want us all to look alike!

Hello, nice to meet everyone. Yes the lack of customisation (avatars and signatures 😢) is a big disappointment for me too. Hopefully they'll sort that out. I also noticed there's no quote feature. 

OK, let's see if I've figured out how to write my own reply. I think I've mastered replying to another member's post...

This forum is...different.  I'm holding out hope that I'll become as comfortable using it as I was over at the "old place." I'm doing my best to be optimistic about that.

And, if any of us are thinking "I'm too old for this, and that's why it's tough to adjust," my daughter, barely a Teen, says "it's really awkward and it's not easy to follow."  Z misses reading the "old" forum, too.
