okay... these are fire. I'll do the event

I can’t seem to start the event. Does anyone know what you have to do to trigger it?

At Spice Market, 19 Culpepper House, former detective Gavin Reed lived with his new boyfriend. After quitting his job, he was making a living from uploading reaction videos to pretty much everything that went on in the world or the city.
But truth was, even though Gavin would never have admitted that, the people of Detroit didn't need him to have an opinion on their lives.

Daniel: "No matter how funny you can phrase it, love, I don't think the Detroiters want to hear about their troubles all the time. They're theirs. They live in them."

Gavin: "Got a different suggestion?"

Daniel: "Glimmer."

Gavin: "Ey?"

Daniel: "Er... glamour?"

Tina: "Right! Nonsensical tidbits that people can obsess about that's in no way related to reality and doesn't impact them."

Daniel: "Can you narrow that down, Tina?"

Tina: "Hm... the nobility, maybe?"

Daniel: "I thought you don't have that here?"

Tina: "You'd be surprised! Even though a title means nothing anymore, many people have ties to noble dynasties."

I'm playing the event with my usual sims, albeit in a new save. As a detective, Gavin is probably well suited to uncovering info. As for Danny, where exactly he comes from is a secret to even his rommates. There's a reason I don't show his plumbob.

I hope that Daniel will go well doing the event and discovering the secrets! 🙂

Did you get an update done? If not then restart EAapp and that should trigger it.

Here's my sim talking to the royal envoy at the library.

Did anyone notice there is an option to destroy phones now? Is this un update coming with the new pack?

It is a nice photo of your sim taking to the Royal Envoy for the event. I hope that she goes well doing the tasks 🙂

Gideon decides to watch the news one morning, and it seems like some sort of Envoy has been spotted around town. How interesting, Gideon wonders what the Envoy is doing here. 

While still watching the news, and while he's in the midst of a conversation with his brother, he hears a knocking at the door. Who could that be at this time of day?  Gideon invites the sim in. 

The Envoy comes on in and introduces herself,  she mentions she had "received word of suspicious activity regarding some of the ancient  treasures being kept outside of the kingdoms." This has Gideon very curious, and he decided that this was something he should totally look into. 

He asks the Envoy about the Darong family, and the Envoy tells him that the always valued fine works of art, she goes on to suggest painting  something, and that maybe he'll uncover some clues in the process.  And with that, the Envoy left. 

Gideon heads outside and starts a painting, 

Later that day, after school, Gideon with his cousin, Abby, went out to the library in Willow Creek. Gideon has the hope of surprising  the Envoy with a question. 

When Gideon sees the Envoy he asks his question, and Gideon notices that the Envoy looked surprised to see him. She then quickly tells him that "The Darong's Family treasure is hidden somewhere in these archives." She is then gone before Gideon knows it.  

But this is very interesting. Somewhere around here something could be hidden? Hmm, Gideon wonders if he'll be able to find out anything on the computer, looks like it's time for an old favorite, hacking.  
While he' doing some hacking for information, he asks Abby if she know anything about the Darong Family.  Abby says that  she "isn't too familiar with them, and mentions that, that Envoy who was just here, was muttering Darong...art" while looking though the books.

After he finished hacking, Gideon went straight to the library's bookcase,  it seems clear that the Envoy was looking for something, but what?  In one of the books he was searching, a key slipped out  it and landed on the floor. He looks down at and wonders how the key ended up in the book and what it may go to. He grabs it from the floor thinking that, this "must be what the Envoy was after!" 

He calls that a pretty successful day, and he head home.

It was great reading about and seeing the pictures of Gideon’s day and how he went doing the event 🙂 He had an interesting day meeting the royal envoy and discovering things about the Darong family. It was good that he ended up finding the skeleton key in the book. I hope that his next steps in the quest to unravel more discoveries about the families continue to go well 🙂
