I love how detailed your replies are! They are always a pleasure to read. Thank you!
It was great reading about how Charles is going as he does the challenge 🙂It wasn’t so good that the Royal Envoy came to watch the him whilst the family was enjoying family time out at the skating rink! He was surprised that he beat her at chess! It was good that Candice has studied Princess Cordelia at the University course and could fill him more about details of her life. It would have been very cold for him searching the bench in the Wintery blizzard weather ❄️
Congratulations also to Candice on her promotion and happy birthday to Sandy! 🎂He was happy when he found the hidden code, but then looks quite disappointed to find the empty box when searching the bench 🙁
It was great that the Royal Envoy arrived wearing a style influencer trend that Noelle had made! 🙂It was nice that he played the chess match with his friend to prepare for the match against the Royal Envoy, and also talked to his cousin about Princess Cordelia. It was great that the event led him to enjoy spending time with them at the same time as doing the tasks. Congratulations to him winning the chess match against the envoy! 🙂

Part 2
Gideon headed down to the museum by himself, and he spent some time looking at the paintings the museum had, and he found...that they were nice paintings, nothing more. However, since he's here, he might as well do a bit more searching.
He decided to investigate the Cordelia's statue that the museum had, if something was hidden here, it probably would be around it. He made sure the coast was clear, and checked out the statue, and he found a hidden code on the bottom of the statue!
Gideon called the Envoy, who was not surprised to learn about the code at all, turned out she already knew about it and she used it!
He went outside, and checked the benches nearby, and he found a box, and he used the code on the box and opened it it. And it was empty. The Envoy had indeed already found and took the contents. Talk about being one step behind...
- PuzzlingMystery8 days agoSeasoned AceThe envoy showing up nice and fashionable in an style influencer trend that Noelle (Gideon's mom) made
The Envoy appeared in Gideon's neighborhood, and before Gideon went out and asked about the Thebe family, instead of giving him information, the Envoy told Gideon that he won a chess match against her, she'll give information about Cordelia Thebe and said she'll be at the park waiting. She then left.
But the Envoy watched a chess match? This news excited Gideon, he enjoyed chess, and though he was quite decent at it. (Logic skill 7)While Gideon was chatting with the Envoy, he friend Adonis called, wanting to come over, so he did, and while he was over, Gideon played chess against him, sharping his skills, getting ready to face the Envoy in a chess match.
Afterwards, (after getting his homework done) he went to his room, and drove into some online research about Cordelia, finding out she had an interest in paintings and was rumored to have stolen a treasure!
Gideon headed over to his cousin, Abby's house, hoping that she knew something about Cordelia. They had a nice conversation, where Abby shared, "You know, despite being part of the royal family, Princess Cordelia was secretly a pirate. She lead double life sailing the seas, seeking hidden treasures, and is rumored to have stolen a vast fortune!" The more Gideon hears about Cordelia, the more he likes, she sounds like she pretty amazing.
Gideon headed to the park, and played a chess game against the Envoy, and he won the game. The Envoy seemed irritated by the loss, and said, "Fine, you win! How are you always one step ahead? this is getting frustrating!" They left.
Gideon watched the Envoy storm off, wondering what the Envoy's game was, why did she think he was one step ahead? He didn't feel that way at all.Well, he finished the game more or less at a good time, he had to head off to his manual laborer part time job.
After work, and after got some sleep and a bite to eat, he watched the news, where he found about "new paintings from the Thebe family being showcased at the Municipal Muses Museum" Interesting, and what a strange coincidence. Unless maybe it wasn't? Does the Envoy know about this?
Gideon pulled out his phone,
and gave the Envoy a call, the Envoy answered and said, "Oh, hi! you know you should really check out Municipal Muses. There's so much to see and do there!" Gideon put his phone away, that call told him nothing, not really. Sure, the Envoy thought he should check out the museum, but it still could just be a coincidence; however, it couldn't hurt to go down to the Municipal Muses Museum.
Jin is very sweet! 💗It is cute that he told them about Princess Cordelia. Congratulations to Gavin on beating the Royal Envoy in chess! 🙂
I hope that the next task completes for you after removing your mods.- Wildstripe8 days agoSeasoned Veteran
It seems like Laura needs to "patch things up" with Kakashi... maybe after he calms down. On the bright side, I'm trying out the new Regal Residence lot trait.
It was raining in Detroit, and only the most dedicated buskers as well as their most supportive fans were outside. As was the Royal Envoy. In fact, she waited for the Reeds at their favorite fishing spot to inform them that their next task was to familiarize themselves with the Thor family.
Jin: "Oh! Da Dor family! Prindess Cooooordy!"
Daniel: "Captain Cordeila is part of the Thor dynasty? Er, was, I mean. Her being dead for centuries already."
Tina: "You can believe Jinny in this. He knows everything about Princess Cordelia."
Daniel: "But she was a pirate!"
Jin: "She hadda double-life, Danny! Pirate at sea and Queen at land! Nobody knew, haha! She was clever like dis!"
From Jin's babbling, the adults also learned that Cordelia had been interested in paintings. Hadn't that topic come up early on during the investigation already...?
Gavin and Daniel went on a date in the park.
The days were getting warmer, now that it was halfway through spring. Soon they could not just dip their toes into the fountain, but splash in it.
Daniel: "We had burgers and kisses, and I absolutely cannot complain, but... why chess now?"
Gavin: "The envoy will only tell me more about the mission if I beat her in chess. So, do your best!"
(While Gavin has the highest Logic skill of the trio, both Tina and Daniel are gamers, so it makes sense for me that they'd give Gavin pointers.)
Tina: "Well, who's winning?"
Jin: "Dad!"
Tina: "Hehe, yeah. And for real?"
The little boy looked at the chess board more attentively now, studying the formation. At this point it was easy to predict the outcome.
Jin: "Also dad!"
Royal envoy: "You won? Why are you always a step ahead of me? Argh, you're so annoying! I'm leaving now! ... I'll call you later and tell you what I know."
Gavin: "What the PLUM is going on here? First she hires me, then she makes me jump through hoops to get my next assignment and she always gets envious when I bring results!"
Tina: "Look at the situation through your detective eyes! What does your experience tell you?"
Gavin: "...that she wanted an easily manipulated pawn and now that I turned out too independent, or too alert, or both, she has second thoughts regarding her choice."
Tina: "There you have it! I mean, just because you aren't a cop anymore, didn't make all the crooks in the world vanish."
(The next task doesn't complete for me. It's probably the Call anytime mod at fault. I'll temporarily take it out tomorrow and see if that helps.)
