Lost the millions dollars inheritance :(

So Dustin Broke was married to Penny Pizaz (whatever her name was) they had two girls and Dustin had one with one of My Sims. I had the girl from my sims move in with her Dad and Penny. Dustin dies of old age. Penny is not quite ther yet. However Thorne Bailey also had a daughter with my sim. She moved in with her Dad and Olivia. Olivia dies and Thorne is almost ready to go. So I move Penny and the other 3 girls in with Thorne. Penny dies first and then Thorne before one of the girls ages to teen. I got notice that Bailey Moon adopted one (not his half sister) and the other three girls are now with my sims who is the mother to two of the girls. I had wanted to keep them in one house so the money was still there. I check in manage households, have not entered the lots yet, but the millions are gone :(
We need inheritance, I seem to have a lot of older sims having babies just before they age up to elders and lots of orphans.
