Lot Trait - Generic. What Do You Use It For?

Done that more than a few times, wedding venues, grave yards, banks, etc are all made from park lots.

Generic lots are so limited. If you want to have a church there you need the Party Anywhere mod to host a wedding there. I find when I terrain paint generic lots, leave them, and then come back, all my hard work has disappeared. I had my graveyard marked as generic before but now it's residential because I moved the reaper in there. Honestly I dislike generic lots. If I'm making a wedding venue I mark it as a bar or a nightclub (but then when other sims invite you out, you party at the church instead of the discotheque or the blue velvet which is irritating) so I've started marking them as national parks. For my graveyard in another save, I marked it as a national park and used Command (on Macs)+[ to shrink the picnic table, trash can, and grill and hid them on the lot so it would fulfill the requirements. Because who wouldn't want to randomly party in a graveyard???? BAsically EA should rethink generic lots and make them 1)not private because I love seeing NPCs and played sims everywhere and 2) able to host events there. You can host events at strangers' houses but not on generic lots...
