@SimzSizzle Hmm, it’s been a while since I had a child in my game but that hasn’t been my experience on Love Day. Maybe it is a newer issue.
Were all the traditions greyed out for the child?

@babjayne, the options weren't greyed out for him. I had him participating at first, he bought some gift items on the computer, which I was surprised he could do.
He gave his mother a rose, and he didn't give his dad anything because I saw that he usually ignored this holiday.
Then he went to school, and his parents were home alone, and I was working on their relationship, having them interact with each other.
Then I got the pop up about the flowers, and I was a little upset because the game said he usually ignored the holiday, so why am I getting a pop up I couldn't cancel ?
The choices on the pop up stunk, and I couldn't close it until I made a choice, and I wanted to get back to raising the parents relationship so I quickly made a choice.
Then I decided if he usually ignores the holiday, I'll just not have him participate, thinking it would close the holiday for just him, but it closed it for everyone, and I didn't want the parents to get a love day was awful because they're married. Married couples should max out the love day imo.
