Love Day is like Valentine's Day and in the US - kids swap valentine cards at school - at least they used to - not sure if it is done anymore. I assume that is what the school pop up on Love Day is meant to resemble. And chance cards are just that - he got that he was selfish this time, but next time you pick the same thing may be a good outcome.
