Wouldn’t this have been an opportune time to give us pool tables? Bars are a central spot to meet singles but the bar scene isn’t new to the game by any means. Wouldn’t something as iconic as the pool table have been a fun and obvious addition??
At this stage I don't think we'll get them in TS4. There have been so many packs that would have been ideal to include them in but they were left out.
I would have loved to get pool tables with this pack! I know there's a cost difference in creating entirely brand new objects rather than just new meshes of existing gameplay objects, but I'm surprised we got new gym equipment/decor. It's not what would come to mind first when I think of a love-themed expansion pack.
Maybe a hobby pack is coming somewhere down the line that will give us those and some arcade games (and other things), but yeah, missed opportunity here.

DeepPurpIe Whether it's a recolor or new mesh, it's definitely not a new activity. I was also very disappointed to learn that the dumbbell rack wasn't functional. Pool table would have been nice.
Yes, it would have been a good addition. The one thing missing from the pack is a unique item that's not a reskin of something already in the game.
Yeah I really do miss having the pool table in the game.
Pool tables are on the short list of things I still miss and still wish we had. I used to use that pool table in Sims 3 a lot.

What are our new gameplay items in this EP?? It would have been nice to have a new gym objects with new game play (like a stationary bike??) or something new couples could do together at the bar (like the pool table). It would have been cool to be able to form a band! That would be and enticing romantic themed addition.
