LoveStruck Negative Thread 2.0

I still wonder if there will be other little activities they just didn't happen to show as a...surprise lol. A new lot type for dates really would've been great and honestly, needed at this point. 

I'm glad that there is an entire mod pack for different gym equipment with new animations because the fact that they show photos of sims for the dating profiles lifting weights but they didn't even make the weight rack functional so that sims can actually do that is, disappointing to say the least. 

The game really lacks new things to do. Even just getting a pool table for dates to hangout would've been great since I know so many simmers have been begging to bring the pool table back. I actually think a tiny putt putt golf course would've been cool too lol. Whether it was one object or an entire mini course that is imbedded in the world and you can only use it in Ciudad Enamorada. 

I laughed a few times when they talked about gameplay instead of showing us the gameplay. Like they pointed out the new card game, but didn’t play it. And they talked about the blanket, but didn’t use it. They didn’t even demonstrate the love hotel. All this gives the impression that they didn’t want to show them to us because maybe there’s a problem with those features. It’s not a crazy theory, considering the glitching when they tried to show us the sims woohooing in the heart bed. 

I saw a lot of sims standing around in the same old boring base game venues, asking each other ridiculously personal questions that no one would ask IRL. 

The whole livestream was low-energy, and the hosts looked like they were there against their will. Definitely the worst one I’ve seen so far. 

They could have simply copied an existing mod, but they couldn’t even be bothered to do that. Just one more missed opportunity of many in this pack. 

OMG, I missed that! I hope the content creators pick up on this when they get early access. 

I liked what I saw in the livestream, but as other people have said, I didn't see enough. Like someone else on here said, they talked about features like the games and hotel, but didn't show them, and they didn't show us anything about the new career. I too hope that this isn't because the whole thing is bugged. I'll definitley be waiting for a sale for this one, and skipping it entirely like For Rent if they don't fix any issues.

manicobsessive1  They literally showed the hotel in the gameplay trailer. There isn't much more to it as it's a rabbithole building.

PandoraTO  The embargo lifts today, so we should be able to see the sims Youtubers reviews and they will definitely show if there are any bugs and glitches. 

leucosiax  I never saw bonus content I want less. 

That’s fine with me, to be honest. I don’t like these bonus content items that try to lure you to pay full price as otherwise you’ll be sad you’ve missed them forever. Better that they offer bonus content we don’t actually want, so we’re not tempted, or bothered if we miss them 😀

They had all the negative things you can think of in the past game of Sims 2 turn on and turn off and I don't believe that people back in the day complain about it. Now I guess they have to be careful what they do. 

The language in this pack is so stiff. Look at how wordy half of those descriptions are in Romantic Boundaries. Your sim doesn't ask someone if they find them attractive, but they ask about Attraction Level.
