"The Sims 3 provides to players, it is objectively better in most aspects"
Not for rotational players, not for players who loved the sims 2 personality, fears and chemistry system. You are projecting what you feel onto other people.
To many sims 2 players the sims 3 sims felt empty and hollow, with the new traits making sims robotic; surrounded by a giant world full pudding faces, rabbit holes, and empty bars.
The lack of proper restaurants and the terrible store OFB, that wouldn't even allow you to sell crafted items was a massive let down, for many players. All of the sims 2 charm was completely lost with sims 3, it wasn't "objectively" better for everyone; it was for you.
There seems to be a few sims 3 players, who believe their personal preferences are the default and everyone else must either be liars, shills or "sheeple".
At this point it's just beating a dead horse, we are going around and around in circles because "only sims 3 players are unbiased" in their taste apparently, everyone else just needs it battered into them that they are wrong.
