My maids are usually ok. I think it may be random how well or badly they do. I've had some that are great and some that are horrible. With the horrible ones, I've canceled the maid service and called to get it back. When they sent a new maid out, they were usually better. I don't bother with nannies though unless my children are toddlers who are already potty trained and I make sure there is food made in the fridge. The toddlers will stay home with the nanny, take care of themselves (I drag the dinner out of the fridge for them so they can feed themselves) and they can continue to learn and skill up as the parents work.
