Make Speaker Like Sims 3?

I hate hate hate Sims 4 speakers. I guess they tried making it more 'realistic' and 'immersive' but its annoying and terrible. Having to look at the speaker from a certain angle, at a certain distance otherwise its muffled or quiet is terrible design. Is there an audio option or mod that makes it like Sims 1, 2, and 3? You know where you could hear the music clearly when in the room or had the walls not all the way up like Sims 3? I miss listening to music but 4 years in and its impossible to hear because of this terrible design choice of theirs.
