- Sheepiling2 years agoRising RookieThis morning the EA app was saying my Sims 4 wasn't installed, and restarting my computer fixed that issue and I was able to load my game normally. But a couple hours later, when I restarted to see if the infant update rolled out yet, the EA app didn't even let me sign in, and said there was a network error.
It's possible there's some issues on EA's end that needs to be fixed. It might not be your games actually missing. I'd suggest making a support ticket just to be safe, though. - Either I can't login to the EA app or my library is empty. Sucks that this update only came out at 18:00 here in Europe and I've already spent an hour waiting. I spend last week preparing for the update so I wouldn't waste too much time creating a family and building a home.
- It seems like everything is good for me now, minus the EA app not showing which DLC I own. Is anyone else having this problem?
- Katofhyrule122 years agoSeasoned NoviceThis keeps happening to me. The Sims game is always still installed. I just need the app to figure that out. I often have to restart my computer, sometimes more than once.

Same here. I have my couple ready in the library so I can launch right into them. Have been decorating their dream home and saving it so I can put it in the new world Thur. I have to admit that I'm so excited about this new EP. - i_love_frogs_112 years agoSeasoned AdventurerI tried what Monicaelle_ suggested and it thankfully kinda worked but it looks like its not recognizing any of the DLC I own :s ! its so frustrating that this app constantly has issues, especially when the Sims 4 releases a new pack. I actually can't even update the game and its taking a longgg time to load the game pages to play them. This app feels like its still in the beta-testing phase lol
- As above, I've paid a lot of money for this game and it's DLC's. I have had a break for almost a year from playing the game due to all of the issues with various game releases and I was jaded by it all.
Finally last week I got back into it, remembered how much I enjoy it, and am now back in playing mode.
Whilst I think I will love the update and upcoming expansion, I dont need it now. It wasnt part of my game plan.
I'm happy playing offline for a few weeks/months until all of the teething problems with updates and mods are all fixed and updated.
I just want to keep playing the game that I've paid for...as.it.is.
But no. Yet again I am unable to play my game. I have to go through the EA App which keeps not logging me in.
And when I can log in, it can't access the game.
I realise that lots of people are accessing the game and there are issues. But I've paid for the game and I just want to be able to play the thing I own, whenever I want.
I miss the days of owning a CD and just being able to own the game that I've paid for, and play it whenever I want.
Just sharing my frustrations and feeling my age! :s :'( - Hi everyone
Usually after a patch drops, I wait with updating my game because of broken mods/CC and play the game offline for a bit, but I was forced to switch to the EA App some weeks ago and now this doesn't seem possible anymore like it was on Origin?
I went offline, but the "update"-button didn't change to "play", it basically keeps telling me to update my game and I can't play.
Can anyone confirm that?
Kind regards

The server was down at the time you tried to log in, because everyone was logging in/restarting the app at the same time.
