I was thinking it's very unlikely they will get the fix for it in because it's the weekend right now and the patch is supposed to release on Tuesday. And they just seemed to have found the cause on Friday. Also Matt (an experience designer who recently joined the team) said that for updates the build gets "locked" a few days before its supposed to release so that there is no last minute changes made before qa can test it. He also did say "unless it's really important" and I guess this would be an important case so idk. Like I think even if they would be allowed to get sneak a fix in last minute I don't think they could get a fix in that quickly so either they delay it to later in the week or they release the update and then release another emergency patch after.
