"Marrying a sim in your employ would be innapropriate"

This bug is still here. Did the Serial Romantic aspiration first and I now want to marry a guy for the Soulmate aspiration. Broke up with all my previous boyfriends, but one. And that one is dead. I can't find the guy in town or in the manage world overview. I also can't reset the relationship through cheats. Nothing is working and I am getting kind of desperate. Or am I missing people that are not even in my friendship list anymore?
