:/ Ok, so my sim is a scientist NOT a gardener - i keep continually being asked whilst at work to mix a slimify serum, but i dont have parsley or carrots.i cant buy them, i cant find them, and i have been travelling around the lots to see if i can find some to harvest but nothing!what can i do i am running out of ideas???

Check & there should be some to harvest. I actually had to make someone in my household a gardener so my scientist would have necessary materials. I cheated though & used Debug, to pull out all the plant types I needed to plant. I now have a garden with high quality products for everything my scientist needs.

I think parsley comes in the seed pack you get when you're not even a gardener. Just click on one of the plant pots in the science venue and then click on the basic herb seed pack and you should get parsley, you can then use the seed that you purchased or plant some so you can have some for future reference. I think the same can be said for carrots but you need to buy the vegetable seed pack.

My scientist has done all her gardening in the science lab greenhouse.

Be aware that the parsley is in the herb packet, not the vegetable packet.My sim will synthesize any of the serums except slimify, I have the carrots and parsley in her inventory but when I click on that serum she doesn't get any action appear in her action bar and it's really annoying.

To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair. Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders.

There is one carrot plant in Oasis Springs. Stay to the right side when you enter the park. Walk toward the back. The road will veer off to the right (passing the restrooms). Follow it. You'll pass a lemon tree and see a bench next to a trash receptacle. Look to your left. You'll see some bushes next to small(ish) rocks. The carrot plant is small, and it's between those bushes and a tree that's in front of huge boulders. I took a screenshot, but do not know if or how to post it here.
